Recognizing the specific needs of those who served our country, Volunteers of America provides specialized programs for homeless and at-risk veterans and their families in the Greater Sacramento area. These services provide rapid re-housing, intensive case-management, and focus heavily on increasing our veteran men's and women's employment possibilities.

VETERANS HOUSING AND ESSENTIALS CAMPAIGN

Program Goals
We aim to give homeless veterans and their families the tools to overcome their barriers to housing and employment, attain and maintain stable housing, find and keep sufficiency-level employment, and gain access to resources that will help them live positive, independent lives.

Volunteers of America provides assistance with housing, employment and more to homeless and “on the verge" veteran men, women and families in Sacramento, Yolo, El Dorado and Placer counties. Since its inception, VOA Veteran Services has given 509 veterans the tools to build brighter futures.

Our work with veterans is made possible by the generous support of organizations like The Home Depot Foundation.
