    Winter Triage Shelter

    Opens in Sacramento

    In partnership with the City of Sacramento, Volunteers of America (VOA), is opening a 2017 Winter Triage Shelter to bring services and housing to those most in need. Preparations are underway to get the shelter open as soon as possible.

    VOA Founders Day

    Volunteer's of America's 120th Anniversary!

    Volunteers of America's 120th Anniversary is approaching! Ballington and Maud Booth founded our organization almost 120 years ago on March 8th, 1896. They vowed to "go wherever we are needed and do whatever comes to hand". To this day, VOA remains dedicated to this mission and the commitment to serving those most in need.

    Dare to Dream Scholarship

    Deadline April 10th

    Our Foster Youth Services are very committed to supporting foster youth who are pursuing their higher education dreams. Eligible foster youth can apply to apply for the Dare to Dream academic scholarships. Completed applications are being accepted from February 1st - April 10th, 2018
