    VOA has a variety of different temporary emergency shelters in the Sacramento area for individuals, families, the elderly and other populations experiencing homelessness.

  • Supportive Housing

    Supportive, temporary accommodation that is meant to bridge the gap from homelessness to permanent housing by offering structure, support, life skills, education, etc.

  • Affordable Housing Communities

    Different affordable housing for families, seniors, veterans, and those with disabilities located in Auburn, Sacramento, Roseville, Rocklin, and North Highlands.

  • Employment & Empowerment

    The various employment and rehabilitation services available include our Specialized Training Employment Program Services, and our Veterans Employment Services.

  • Addiction Recovery for Parenting Women

    VOA's Addiction Recovery for Parenting Women program (Options for Recovery) focuses on helping mothers recover Substance Use Disorder and have healthy children. The Recovery for Parenting Women program serves pregnant women and mothers struggling with addiction.

  • Veterans Services

    Services include rapid re-housing, case-management and homeless prevention. A large focus is heavily placed on increasing our veteran men's and women's employment possibilities through life and job skills classes.
