Reno News 4: NV Energy donates to program focused on supporting homelessness, isolation amid pandemic

Today, NV Energy has donated $10,000 to Volunteers of America Northern California and Nothern Nevada (VOA-NCNN) in hopes of aiding the needs of people experiencing homelessness and isolation amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The grant from NV Energy will assist VOA-NCNN in continuing to

• Adapt systems
• Implement safety and distancing protocols
• Covering expenses to support a meal delivery service and care packages for isolated seniors, veterans, disabled and clients supportive housing
• Purchasing sanitation and other necessary supplies for staff and clients
