Sacramento Bee: Large homeless shelter for women opens today in this Sacramento neighborhood

In October 2020, Sacramento opened the doors and welcomed in the first women to stay at the Meadowview Navigation Center. In partnership with the City of Sacramento and the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency, we have created a space for up to 100 women to come out of the elements, and heal from the trauma of homelessness.
