Volunteers of America Family Shelter to benefit from wine-and-cheese fundraising event hosted by Fine Vines Cheese & Wines May 19
(Reno, Nevada) – The Volunteers of America Family Shelter, a safe haven for homeless families, is the beneficiary for “Friends of Friends,” a wine-and-cheese-tasting fundraising event set for 5 to 8 p.m. at Fine Vines Cheese & Wines, 6300 Mae Anne Ave, Reno, Nev.
“We all need to reach out and help those in need and this is our opportunity for all of us to come together and do that,” said Fine Vines co-owner Tom Stevenson.
Tickets for the event, which includes music by guitarist Joe Buonanno, and catering by chef Colin Smith, Hi Point Café and Peg’s Glorified Ham & Eggs, cost $30. They are available at Fine Vines Cheese & Wines, or by calling (775) 787-6300.
