    #goldentampon is an annual donation drive founded by Shanna Golden that collects and distributes feminine hygiene products like tampons and pads to female clients of VOA. Give back by organizing a drive, hosting a collection bin at your home, church, school, or business.

    This is an incredible opportunity to provide continuity, joy, and hope in otherwise unsettled and uncertain times for the kids living at VOA’s Family Shelter in Reno by donating gifts, cupcakes/cake, goody bags, decorations, supplies, and entertainment/games - everything needed to host a monthly birthday party for the kids.

  • Take a Tour of VOA Facilities & Programs

    Volunteers of America regularly schedules tours of its various program facilities to allow community members to gain a firsthand look at how restored hope can turn a person's life around and to introduce the public to VOA and its ongoing mission to reach and uplift all people. Regular tours are offered at the Reno Community Assistance Center, home of our Family Shelter, Men’s/Women's Shelters, and Restart Program.
