Mather Community Campus focuses on helping formerly homeless individuals and families rebuild their lives through intensive employment and rapid housing services. The 12-month program provides transitional housing, case management, employment and life-skills workshops, educational and job referrals.
With Volunteers of America’s Specialized Training Employment Program (STEP), employers can now hire with the assurance that our pre-screened candidates have undergone specialized training to help ensure higher employee retention and reduced turnover.
Volunteers of America’s transitional housing program for former foster youth provides housing and independent living skills training for youths aged 18 to 24 who have aged out of foster care, or who have otherwise been engaged in the public system of care as children.
Volunteers of America's Veteran Services provide homeless veterans with employment counseling, interview preparation, job referrals, and more, to help veterans address and overcome their personal barriers to stable employment.
