Celebrating 126 Years of Impact!

March 8 marks our Founder’s Day, and this year, VOA celebrates its 126th year of making a difference!
126 years ago, our founders Maud and Ballington Booth began with a mission to “go wherever needed and do whatever comes to hand.” Today, we continue that mission by providing shelter, recovery services, mental health resources, affordable housing, and hope to our neighbors who are looking for a hand up. We are not afraid to stand with people going through the worst moments of their lives as they build the resilience to overcome and succeed. We know that asking for help requires true strength, and we are blessed to see lives transformed each and every day.
We also know that none of our work would be possible without the support of our many partners, supporters, and our local community. We are thankful for the many ways you step up to make our clients feel loved and cared for. Thank you for your support over the years. Cheers to 126 more!
