Partnership in Action: Amplifying Impact

At VOA, we know that partnership only maximizes the impact that will be made on our community. We partner with government agencies, public companies, and private organizations to provide items and services that make our clients feel cared for and respected.

Recently, two local churches stepped in to fill a huge need at the Nevada Cares Campus. Summit Christian Church worked on the campus to clean and pick up trash, making it feel more like “home” to those who stay there. They said,

“We are volunteering here today to be of service to our community and to represent our church. This is an underserved population and there's definitely a need for help. The word of God says to love your neighbors, and the folks here at the Campus are our neighbors."

Another generous congregation from Holy Cross Lutheran Church stepped in to provide hygiene kits, allowing those who are living at the Campus to truly reconnect with their self-worth. We are thankful to these churches, and to Community Fellowship and LifeChurch Reno for their partnership earlier in the year. We know that life can be harsh, but together, we can do more!
