We Couldn’t Do It Without You

As we close out this year, I wanted to take this opportunity to simply say thank you.

Just by being a part of this community, you are making a difference in the lives of families like Michelle’s. Michelle, her husband, and their 4 teenage children were living normal lives when their landlord raised the rent beyond what they could afford, leaving them without anywhere to go. Most shelters do not allow teenage boys, but Michelle refused to separate her family.

When she came to VOA, the whole family felt lost, struggling with their mental health. Today, though, I am happy to say that Michelle and her family are hopeful once again. They have found the security and safety they needed to get back on their feet, and we can’t wait to see where they go next.

Thank you for being there for families like Michelle’s every day. Your partnership helps our clients feel respected and cared for. This holiday season, I hope you know how much we appreciate you.
