Winter Wonderland

Wonderland brightens the holidays for thousands of foster children every year.

Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, VOA has decided to cancel this year’s Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland Volunteers and Collaborators,

Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Volunteers of America has decided to cancel this year’s Winter Wonderland, which was scheduled for December 2020. This has been an exceptionally difficult decision, but individual and communal health is our priority. Unfortunately, an in-person event would endanger our youth and members of the general public. We recognize this is a loss for the 500+ families who look forward to the holiday fun and festivities each year. We share in the sadness for this lost opportunity.

Despite the regrettable circumstances I want each of you to know it has been my absolute privilege and pleasure to work with so many of you to bring Winter Wonderland to life each year. Your commitment to our youth has been nothing short of admirable and it leaves me in awe of your compassion and dedication. Please continue to check the VOA Winter Wonderland link for any updates and information for a possible Winter Wonderland 2021.

With love and gratitude,

Marsha Lucien
