The Nevada Cares Campus offers a safe place and a way forward for men and women experiencing homelessness in the Reno area
Run in partnership with Washoe County, the Nevada Cares Campus provides emergency shelter for up to 600 adult individuals and couples. Clients are able to bring their pets and possessions with them as they access support services. Staff members help these individuals find a path out of homelessness where they can once again be independent and be back on their feet for life.

VOA’s goal is to move our guests into more permanent housing as soon as possible, based on the individual’s needs.

The low-barrier shelter admits men and women who are experiencing homelessness, as well as couples. Guests are able to bring their partners, pets, and possessions as they access services and the safety of the shelter.
WHAT SERVICES ARE PROVIDED
Guests at the Nevada Cares Campus have access to a variety of support services, including case management, housing navigation, and mental health counseling. Meals are served each day with the assistance of community partners and donors.
