Join us in extending a warm welcome to Travis Sandefur, the new VOA Regional Vice President of Northern Nevada!Prior to joining VOA’s staff, Travis served on the VOA Board of Directors for four years as a member and as the Vice Chair. He is a local business owner of Pangolin Café, and a dedicated advocate for the community. Through his work on the VOA Board of Directors, Travis witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by individuals facing homelessness and he became very passionate about making a difference.
His remarkable background in business, coupled with his heartfelt commitment to supporting those experiencing homelessness, makes him an ideal person to spearhead VOA’s mission of providing dignified housing and assistance.
Travis Sandefur has long been a prominent figure in the Reno community. As the owner of Pangolin Café, he has not only delighted patrons with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere, but has also fostered a sense of community and support. Travis understands the importance of creating spaces where people can come together, share stories, and build connections. His commitment to serving others extends beyond the walls of his café.
